Every year, 1,250 patients receive treatment in the children’s department of the Kyzyltepa District Hospital in Navoi region of Uzbekistan, where 814 children with disabilities are officially registered. The wards and auxiliary rooms were in outdated condition, leaving children without the proper environment for safe and comfortable treatment.
In January 2023, together with the ONA Foundation, a renovation project for the department was launched to create modern and welcoming conditions for young patients.
A full renovation and capital repair of the wards and auxiliary rooms was carried out. The spaces were equipped with furniture, appliances, specialized hospital beds, and all necessary supplies. The walls were decorated with bright drawings, and a play corner was created for children, complete with books, stationery, and toys.
Today, children receive treatment in comfortable surroundings where attention is given not only to medical care but also to the psychological well-being of young patients. This has become an important step toward improving pediatric healthcare in the region.
In the Bogot District of Khorezm Region, 4,000 people — 750 families — live without proper access to healthcare. The only rural medical center had long been in critical condition, leaving thousands of residents without full medical assistance for years.
In 2024, together with the ONA Foundation, we launched a project of full reconstruction of the rural medical center, with the goal of creating a modern facility where residents could receive proper healthcare close to home.
Within ten months, the center was fully transformed. A new building was constructed according to worldwide standards, equipped with a heating system, a modern water purification system as well as solar panels. The premises now include dedicated rooms, medical equipment, and all necessary supplies.
Today, the residents of Bogot District have access to a modern healthcare center that meets international standards.
